The Hanging Organizer Pattern! This intermediate‑level project is knit flat using two strands of worsted‑weight yarn held together and features a clean, nicely textured 1x2 Garter Rib stitch. The finished organizer measures approximately 13 x 19 inches once folded and is designed to hang easily on a door, in a closet, craft room, or bathroom, making it both practical and stylish.
One of my favorite things about this pattern is how customizable it is. You can easily adjust the width of the base or pockets by adding or removing stitch pattern repeats in multiples of three pegs, and the length can be changed by knitting more or fewer rows. The pattern includes instructions for both a large and a medium pocket, along with clear stitch‑marker placement to help you stay on track as you knit.
